2.1. Moisture Resistance

- Color board designs possess excellent moisture resistance due to a large melamine content in the adhesive component.

- The products are treated with surface protective layers to resist water, creating a lotus effect suitable for high-humidity areas like kitchens, bathrooms, and as substitutes for compact panels in sanitary partitions.

- The lotus effect is an excellent solution to increase water resistance on board surfaces after oiling.

2.2. Coloured throughout

- Colors are directly processed on wood fibers, creating uniformity throughout the board.

- They do not change or fade under direct natural or artificial light, maintaining color durability and vibrancy.

2.5. Non Toxic (E0 classified)

- Formaldehyde emission level meets E0 standard (according to moisture adsorption method).

- Non-toxic and stable colors due to the use of high-quality adhesive and organic dye materials.

3. Finishing 

- After processing (cutting, engraving, drilling, shaping, etc.), protective measures should be used to prevent moisture absorption the board:

•  Use PU paint: apply at least 2 layers.
•  Use wood polish: apply at least 2 layers.

- Edge areas are more prone to moisture absorption than the surface, so reinforce protection with additional layers or plastic coverings.

- For horizontal surfaces (tables, shelves, etc.) and areas prone to water accumulation (partitions), it is recommended to use PU paint.

- For vertical surfaces, PU paint or wood polish can be used.

- To preserve the original color and protect the surface of the board, PET or Acrylic can be applied as protective layers.

- To change the surface color of the board, colors can be added to the paint during coating.

- It can be processed with melamine, HPL, veneer, and other conventional industrial wood materials.

3.1. Special applications of technical details:

Due to its high density and good internal bonding, Color Board ensures high mechanical strength, flexural strength, and good screw holding ability. As a result, the colored wood veneer can easily be used in three-dimensional constructions, such as hidden joints or dismountable connections.

4. Recommendations

- During the coloring process with different wood fibers, tonal and shade changes may occur due to the varying absorption capacity of the wood fibers. Customers should choose processing veneer sheets with the same thickness and production batch.

- When using veneers with different thicknesses in the same project, customers should check to ensure suitable and matching tones.

- To optimize the usage performance, all surfaces should be treated with protective layers to avoid scratches and marks. In areas prone to scratches sharp objects, scratch-resistant paint should be used for surface protection.
